Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, the Hon'ble Governor of Assam, who is also the Chancellor of the University, presided over the Convocation. Air Marshal Anjan Kumar Gogoi (Retd), PVSM, AVSM, VSM, currently Member, North Eastern Council, Shillong, graced the convocation as the Chief Guest. Over 100 alumni of the University were conferred Under-graduate, Post- Graduate and PhD degrees in the convocation.
The Hon’ble Governor of Assam cum Chancellor of the University in the event congratulated the students who were formally graduated on the day after the successful completion of their course of studies and also urged the students to use the knowledge acquired here to make a difference to the lives of people around them, and especially to those who are less privileged.
The Chief Guest in the convocation Air Marshal Anjan Kumar Gogoi (Retd.) praised the inclusion of an “Armed Forces officer” in the prestigious event reflects a commitment to the new mantra of ‘inclusive growth’ and addressed the graduating students as the stars of the convocation
Prof. Debabrata Das, Vice Chancellor of the University expressed gratefulness to Honourable Chancellor for extraordinary support and guidance at every walk of the University. In his speech, he congratulated each and every student and appreciated the hard work of the students to attain their degree and urged students to contribute to the society by continuously striving for debate and discussion and create India, a stronger nation.
For submittion of the Online Application Form, intending candidaites are advised to follow the following instructions:
Step I:
The candidates shall have to register in the portal www.argucom.ac.in/convocation by entering Full Name, Email ID (preferably Gmail) and Phone Number. Upon registering candidates will receive a One Time Password (OTP) in the registered Email ID which is to be entered for login.
Step II:
After login the applicants shall have to pay Registration Fee of Rs. 1500/- for Indian students and $37 USD for Foreign students which also includes Pre-Convocation Alumni dinner. The payment shall be made through the online payment gateway by using Net banking, Debit Card (Rupay), Credit Card, UPI, NEFT/RTGS & SBI Branch. No other mode of payment is acceptable. For more than one degree, students need to apply separately.
Step III:
After making Payment candidates shall have to fill up their personal details correctly and to proceed to upload their passport size photograph and signature.
Step IV:
In the next step, the students shall have to apply for their Final Certificate by selecting their respective course. The students thereafter shall be directed to the Document Upload Page.
In the Document upload page student shall have to upload the following documents to complete the registration process.
